Summer Festival 2009
We were delighted that approximately 400 people attended our Summer Festival this year. We had great weather for it and everyone looked like they were enjoying themselves.

We also wanted to find out what people thought about our Summer Festival and give us their ideas on how to improve it for next year so asked people to fill in the questionnaire below..

We asked people who attended to complete our feedback questionnaire. Their comments are below:

- 23% said “Nice cakes/refreshments”
- “community focused”

3. Was there anything you did not like?
- 78% said “no”
- 12% said “it could have started a little later”

4. Was the time too short, right, too long?
- 89% said it was right, 12% said it was too short
5. Was the day informative?
- 100% said yes
6. What could make next year’s Summer Festival better?
- Suggestions were: craft stalls, more of the same, more stalls, more selling stalls, ice cream van, more publicity, some music, let the vets know about it, more fun things for children (games, fun races etc).
The Management Committee will be looking at how we can improve our summer fair for 2010. Thank you to all of you who gave us your feedback. Please let us know if you are prepared to help next year.
